SELF-CONSCIOUS

Today we will have our second lesson. I'm looking forward to it. My throat is still a bit funny but I hope I won't cough too much.
In today's lesson we will...
- meet our mascot
- revise some of the vocabulary and structures we saw last Monday
- have a look at the curriculum for the advanced level
- watch a video about the importance of listening to English
- look back at some pieces of news from the summer
- and get the first expression of our collection

Your questions, doubts, comments and ideas will be part of the lesson too (and maybe of future lessons!)

I hope we all enjoy ourselves.

YEAR 2011-2012

Hello everybody! A new school year starts with lots of plans and expectations.
It's important to know where we are going and which ways, which roads there are to get there.
So, let's start by having a look at the curriculum for the ADVANCED LEVEL of Official School of Languages in the Comunidad Valenciana:

SAINT PATRICK'S DAY

I know, I know. Saint Patrick's Day was a few days ago. But it's never too late to learn some facts about the man who is behind this festivity. What do you know about St Patrick? Where was he born? Was Patrick his real name? What happened to him when he was a young lad? Which country is he the saint patron of? What symbols are associated to him?
Well, watch this video and find out!

LADYBIRD DAY

Every day I will choose an animal to be the symbol of the day.
I have started with the LADYBIRD because I like both the word "ladybird" and the animal as such.
What animal will I choose tomorrow?

BETTER LATE THAN NEVER!

This is my first entry in this blog.
I intend it to be of help for my students.
Here they will find the material that I give in class -in case they miss the lesson- and when I grow bolder I will also include extra activities, links, and so on.
This is all for today!!!
