HOUSEBOUND


-bound suffix (PREVENTING LEAVING) (causing people to be) unable to leave a place because of an unwanted condition:
During his long illness he was completely housebound (= he could not leave the house).
She has been wheelchair-bound for several years.



















Today's  activities for 1A2 students:

1) Student's book p. 67  PRONUNCIATION  d:
    Make TRUE sentences about you adding (= añadiendo) some extra information, for example: 

I usually listen to the radio in the car. I sometimes listen to podcasts in English.
I never read a newspaper in the morning. I usually read the news on the Internet.
    etc.

2) Record yourself reading those sentences ↑ and send the recording to the teacher (Please, send it to this email address cme_333@hotmail.com)

3)  Read the information about my daily routine. Can you do something similar about yourself?
     You have to adapt the table to your own routine! Model in WORD  + Model in OpenOffice

4) Answer key to activities on page 165  6B



Today's  activities for students of C2:

1) Try to find out what is today's word

2)  Listen to today's song with and without the lyrics. Do you like it?

3) Sing today's song!!!

4) Now, go to page 2 and read the information about -ward  and  -bound

5) Record yourself explaining how you feel and how you organize your day now that you are housebound. What do you find the most difficult? Send the audio to your teacher.
